Who thought farming can be scary? We could probably guess, because of all the pumpkins. Cause even when it’s not Halloween, Pumpkin Panic is there to send you on a wild item hunt while all the farm monsters are hunting you. Think there is no such thing as farm monsters? In this game, there is! And you’re plunging right in to run and farm for your life!

Seems like a dream farm!

It all starts mundanely enough. There is that farm, and it’s your job to make it thrive. The beds are all ready for you to grow anything from basic potatoes to exotic grapefruits. Plant care isn’t that complicated here at all. Just make sure to water your garden on time and then come back and harvest the plants. They can be sold, or planted around, or even eaten.

Every farmer needs good boots, a big bucket, and a few other things to run one’s household. All of that can be bought in the store. Or found underneath the scarecrow that has a magic ability to generate random items at even intervals. To take stock of everything you have, just go to your inventory – all of your stuff will be neatly distributed and counted within orderly cells.

However, farming isn’t the only thing on your list in Pumpkin Panic. Otherwise there would be no Panic part in the game’s title! There are some quirky inhabitants lurking in the shadows, and they’re not your average barnyard buddies.

When the sun dips below the horizon, the garden gnomes come to life. You will know when they’re out to cause trouble by the haunting sounds of the music box. Don’t even think about stepping out of your house without your lantern! And make sure to grab a balloon. The balloon might be the only thing standing between you and gnome-fueled mayhem!

Surviving in a farmer’s boots

But it’s doesn’t get any easier in the daylight. That lovely deer grazing near your house might seem like a cuddly companion, but beware – it can turn into a ravenous beast without warning! And that bird swooping down from the skies? It’s not aiming for your bread crumbs. Better drop your bucket and run home!

Pumpkin Panic is a cartoonish, lovely and Halloween-like spooky tale that will surely keep your interest for longer than one pumpkin harvest. So, set foot at your creepy farm, prepare for some bizarre adventures and don’t forget to light up your lantern at night!
